Mr. Tanenbaum Bikes the Erie Canal

Come follow along as Mr. Tanenbaum bikes the length of the Erie Canal from Buffalo to Albany.  It will all happen over Spring Break.  You can follow long and comment to Mr. Tanenbaum on the project blog, erie.jacobtanenbaum.com.

The Erie Canal was a 360 mile canal built from one end of New York State to the other.  It helped make New York the economic center that it remains today.  Mr. Tanenbaum will bike a route roughly tracing the old canal from Buffalo to Albany.  Students can learn about this amazing project that was considered one of the great wonders of the world at the time that it was built.  Join us for the fun, starting on April 20th!
